Adding a clamp like the TAMA MC7 to an existing cymbal stand, along with a cymbal rod (sold separately), lets you plant another splash, crash, or China around your kit without setting up an extra stand.
This reduces the amount of gear you have to haul to a gig, minimizes your footprint on a tight stage, and saves you money over time.
The TAMA MC7 Compact Clamp features a ratcheting pivot end that accommodates cymbal stands 12mm–25.4mm, and a boom holder for common 9mm–12mm cymbal rods.
